Their parents give them to them and look at them all afternoon. Many children have learned to play games and browse apps. In addition to vision problems, children still lack judgment on things. So how can parents control children playing with mobile phones?

How to control children playing with mobile phones

1.  It must be time-limited

This is the most important point. Watching TV or mobile phones should not exceed 20 minutes at a time. For children who are used to watching TV or mobile phones, it may be difficult at first. Just be patient and let the child cry a few more times. Let him know your rules. It's okay to watch TV and mobile phones, but he can't exceed the stipulated time. In addition to time limits, for preschool children, you can tell them that they can only watch twice a day. If it is not possible, you can reduce the number of times little by little.

For example, toys should not be displayed at home. Toys that are not played with should be put away. If you take them out after a month or two, they will still be new toys. This point is mainly for children under 4 years old. Buy new toys from time to time, or make toys with your children, such as puzzles, Lego, etc.

3. Take your children to play outdoors more often

As long as children go outdoors, there are many things to play with, and they will naturally not think about looking at their mobile phones. Go hiking, hiking, swimming... When you are tired of playing close by, you can go to the suburbs. You can also use your weekends to visit neighboring cities and provinces. During the holidays, you can also take your children to farther places to make them interested in outdoor things.

1. Adults should lead by example.

When spending time with your children, try to be attentive, and adults should try not to play with their mobile phones in front of their children. If there is something urgent to deal with, tell your child that it will take a few minutes to deal with it, and then turn off the phone. Don’t hold your phone while chatting on WeChat, playing with someone, or taking photos.

2. Take your children to participate in outdoor activities.

Don’t stay at home all the time, let your children get in touch with the outside world. If you don’t want to go far, just stay in the community and play with children of the same age. Or go to a nearby park, play on slides, or dig in the sand, which are all good choices.

3. Read more picture books and play with toys at home.
